Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas that is released when fossil fuels are burned or other organic materials are decomposed by bacteria. It is also released when humans exhale and during animal respiration. Being educated and well aware of the deadly effects of global warming and greenhouse gases on our planet, it is our duty to actively participate in and endeavour to reduce carbon from our homes and in our surroundings as well.

Why is it important to be environmentally conscious? You can’t blame one industry or activity for all of our environmental problems; everything fits together like a puzzle. The more we all do our part, the faster we will be able to develop a whole ecosystem that supports sustainability.
